Dad woke up and took me to the airport Thursday morning. Turns out my cousin Natalie saw me there as she was flying to California, but I didn't see her. Random that we both picked flights that left so early.
The first flight was short, just to Denver. The Denver airport is super cool. You have to get on a train to get to the other gates. The layover was only for about an hour and a half. But Denver had just gotten their first real snow/ice storm of the year, so all of the planes had to be de-iced before they could take off. So we ended up taking off 30-45 minutes late for Dallas.

Unfortunately my flight from Dallas to Nashville was took off about 5 minutes before we got to Dallas. The man at the gate was super nice and switched my flight easily, though, so really there was no harm done.
The Dallas airport was huge. It was like a city within an airport. I spent a couple hours hanging out there, while reading "Pride and Prejudice." Good think I had my favorite book to keep me company.
By the time we landed in Nashville, Kersti, the grad student I roomed with, was scheduled to land within an hour, so I just waited for her. We headed to the hotel and then walked over to this Thai restaurant less than a block away. It was totally delicious!

| We were dying over this description |
We went to bed early that night because we were so exhausted and we knew we had a long day ahead of us.
