Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week were painful. I started getting a nasty cough last Friday and completely lost my voice (it's much better today). Tuesday I had to take 2 tests and yesterday I had to take another one. And since I had been sick I hadn't studied nearly enough and was freaking out a little bit.
Luckily, I have some awesome people in my life.
When I came out of one of my tests Tuesday, my cute roommate Erin had left me a note and Reese's Pieces on the window sill at the Testing Center.
Wednesday when I walked out of my test, Lizzy had written me a note and left me Reese's Peanut Butter Cups on the same window sill. (Can you tell I like peanut butter and chocolate?) And, to make it better, a friend from high school had seen the note and added a note of her own to it.
Turns out my awesome sister Shannon had told Lizzy I was freaking out, so Lizzy also came by my apartment after I got home to bring me ice cream from Shannon.
And Jessica and I are going to ice cream tonight to celebrate being done with my tests.
While all of these things might be little, they all meant a lot. It's nice to know that people are thinking about you. And that even if no one can help me pass my tests, I'm not alone and I don't have to do everything all by myself. I don't know how I got so lucky as to have so many great people in my life, but I'm loving it!
