Engagements

The end of March Kyle and I headed up to Syracuse to have my cousin Andrea take our engagement pictures. Andrea has taken our family pictures and both of my sisters' engagement pictures and I like her style. As beautiful as other photographers' pictures are, I want the pictures to be of us. Yes, it is better if there is cool scenery in the background, but it shouldn't be the focal point. And I knew she wouldn't try to make us do a whole bunch of serious ones. I'm TERRIBLE at doing pretty much anything but smiling for pictures. 

Kyle was not super excited for the whole adventure. And the fact that deciding what to wear was a lot more difficult than he thought it was going to be didn't improve his enthusiasm. But he was a good sport and even had a little fun in the end. Andrea was also taking some baptism pictures for a friend at the same time and it was very entertaining to watch the sassy little eight year old interact with her mom.
