Worcester, Massachusetts. Home of Clark University.
I went out there for an interview for grad school. I got to the Boston Logan airport super late at night and went straight to my hotel so I could sleep. The next day I explored Worcester a little. It's an interesting city. There are some very old buildings, but some new beautiful ones too.

I found the library and spent a little time in there before heading back to the hotel. It was super, super cold, but the sky was blue and bright.

The next day was my interview at Clark. When we pulled up I noticed the statue of Sigmund Freud. That's when I knew Clark was definitely a good place for a psychology nerd. The interview went pretty well, so afterward I stopped at a bakery called "Sweet" for a couple of cupcakes. I had looked up on the Food Network website to see if there was any place out there I could try and found it.

They were seriously delicious!
I went to bed early that night since I had to leave at 3:30 am to get to the airport in time for my flight home. Lucky I packed everything the night before because I woke up to my shuttle driver calling to tell me he was there. He was 15 minutes early, so it all worked out fine.
Everything went smoothly and I landed in Chicago a few hours later. When I got there, I had quite a few text messages and voicemails from family members making sure I got out of Boston. Boston had started cancelling flights around 7 am, about 50 minutes after we left, because of weather. They were all afraid I was going to get stuck across the country two days before Shan's wedding. I made sure everyone knew I was good and then got on my connecting flight to Salt Lake.
Alicia picked me up at the airport and we went back to Mom and Dad's. She had worked the night before and I was exhausted too, so we mostly just hung out together. Although we did go shopping to ensure she had everything for her outfit for Shan's wedding.
