Birthday Celebrations!

Since my birthday fell on a Tuesday this year, Lizzy and I went to Devotional, during which I decided I didn't want to go to my other class that day since it was only presentations.  Instead we decided to go to lunch at Cafe Rio.

After doing some homework, I met up with my roommates, Zach, Lizzy, Haley, Greg, Taylor and Nate at Slab Pizza for dinner.  It was great!

Afterward we went back to our apartment where Ryan and Zach had decorated our apartment, but hadn't been able to find tape...so it was interestingly decorated.  Annie and Ryan joined us for that part too.  We had Lizzy's amazing cake.  Seriously, it was so good!

Friday was Anne's birthday, and she didn't want to have all the attention on her, so we had a party for both of us (but I made sure it was mostly about her anyway).  We were going to have it outside at her aunt and uncle's house, but it snowed that day, so we moved it inside to our apartment.  It was a potluck and it turned out pretty fun!

Jessica and I wanted to do something fun for Anne, so we decided to get her something from every place she had lived.  The final list was:

Germany-German Pancakes for breakfast Friday morning

Greece-Dandelions (apparently they eat those)

China-Hello Kitty coloring book

Canada-Maple Bar

California-A frizbee for the beach

Arizona-Sunscreen

D.C./Virginia-Red and Blue decorations (Republican/Democrat)

Provo-A ring pop (for all of the engagements around here)
